Job Description
Role& Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the maintenance engineering team, including planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and lead root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, health, environmental, and legal standards (e.g., EHS, ISO, GMP, HACCP depending on the industry).
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support manufacturing efficiency and new equipment installations.
- Manage maintenance budget and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
- Oversee spare parts inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Participate in plant improvement and capital investment projects, providing technical expertise and project management support.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including equipment history, maintenance records, and compliance reports.
- Lead and develop team members through training, coaching, and performance management.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in plant maintenance or engineering roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, utilities, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo).
- Familiar with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good in English (spoken and written).
