Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Quality Strategy

• Define and lead the company’s overall quality strategy and long-term quality roadmap.

• Manage and develop QA, QC, Reliability, and Quality Systems teams.

• Build a strong quality culture across all departments.

2. Quality Management System

• Maintain and improve QMS certifications such as ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO14001, and customer-specific standards.

• Ensure audit readiness and full compliance with global semiconductor quality requirements.

• Lead internal, customer, and third-party audits.

3. Product & Process Quality

• Oversee incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality control for wafer fab, assembly, and testing.

• Direct root cause analysis (RCA), 8D, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, DOE, and problem-solving activities.

• Approve process qualifications, equipment validations, and NPI quality gates.

4. Customer Quality

• Act as the primary interface for global customer quality issues and escalations.

• Lead customer audits, quality agreements, complaint handling, and improvement programs.

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of failure analysis and reliability results.

5. Reliability & Failure Analysis

• Supervise reliability engineering programs ensuring product robustness and compliance.

• Oversee failure analysis labs and detailed FA reporting.

• Support qualification of new materials, packages, and technology nodes.

6. Continuous Improvement

• Drive defect reduction, yield enhancement, and overall operational excellence.

• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, and advanced quality tools.

• Implement best practices from global semiconductor industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Semiconductor Science, or related field.

• 15+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with at least 7+ years in a senior QA leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of wafer fabrication, OSAT, packaging, testing, and automotive/industrial quality requirements.

• Proven success in managing large QA teams and driving quality improvements in high-volume semiconductor operations.

• Strong communication skills with cross-cultural leadership experience.
