Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Inventory Management
-
Define and implement inventory policies for each product category.

Ensure stock levels are managed effectively in line with business needs.

Coordinate with suppliers to secure timely deliveries and resolve any supply issues.

Collaborate with third-party logistics partners to ensure adequate warehouse space, manpower, and resources for smooth operations.

Manage stock transfers across warehouses and external locations, including cross-company movements as required.

Align procurement planning with sales forecasts, promotional activities, and confirmed customer orders.
-
Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly procurement reports.
-
Monitor market trends, product availability, and cost factors to optimize sourcing decisions.

Establish clear procedures for handling customer requests and ensure timely, accurate resolution.

Analyze procurement data to anticipate future needs and support customer and internal requirements.
Team Leadership & Development
-
Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team to build capabilities and enhance efficiency.
-
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
-
Identify challenges within the team and implement effective solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
-
Work closely with brand representatives, internal stakeholders, and external customers to align expectations.

Partner with key business functions to ensure procurement supports overall company objectives.

Qualifications
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Experience
-
Minimum 6 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management, ideally within retail, food, or distribution industries.

At least 3 years in a management role, leading teams and overseeing procurement functions.
Skills & Knowledge

Strong knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and compliance practices.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all organizational levels.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems (ERP/MRP knowledge is an advantage).
-
Strong planning, organizational, negotiation, and influencing skills.
-
Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
