A food manufacturing company is looking for Internal Control Team Lead. The successful candidate will report to Head of Internal Control and be in charge of the overall internal control activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and establish internal controls in collaboration with process owners to ensure completeness, accuracy, and proper segregation of duties.
• Conduct control testing, perform process walkthroughs, and regularly monitor for exceptional transactions in SAP.
• Recommend preventive, detective, and corrective actions to address gaps and mitigate process risks, including supporting the development of policies and procedures.
• Follow up on action plans and monitor key risks to ensure effective mitigation.
• Implement internal control self-assessments across entities.
• Support and drive the success of automation projects for exceptional transaction and control detection systems.
• Provide guidance, training, and advice to control champions on internal controls, tools, and templates.

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related analytical fields such as Accounting, Management, Economics, or Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in internal control, business process improvement, enterprise risk management, internal audit, or accounting.
• Proven experience in project management and workshop facilitation.
• Prior experience and knowledge in the food industry or manufacturing sector preferred.
