Our client is a fast-growing organization at the forefront of the electric vehicle industry, known for their collaborative culture and commitment to customer success, they are seeking a results-driven Sales Director to lead regional sales initiatives and drive revenue growth. This role will play a key part in shaping the company’s presence in APAC, developing strategic sales plans, and building long-term relationships with enterprise clients.
The Sales Director will own the end-to-end sales strategy for the region, overseeing business development, account management, and market expansion. The role is responsible for identifying new opportunities, securing strategic partnerships, and ensuring the consistent achievement of revenue targets. Working closely with senior leadership, the Sales Director will align sales initiatives with overall business objectives while mentoring and guiding the regional sales team to maximize performance and impact.
Key Job Functions and Success-Relevant Tasks
- Lead growth initiatives across Thailand and the wider Southeast Asia region, cultivating strong partnerships with enterprise and mid-market clients.
- Proactively discover and pursue new sales opportunities, maintaining a robust pipeline and converting prospects into long-term customers.
- Own the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, forecasting, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Work collaboratively with regional and global teams to ensure smooth execution of projects and excellent customer experiences.
- Consistently meet or surpass revenue targets, driving sustained sales performance in the region.
- Coach and support the regional sales team to enhance effectiveness and achieve business objectives.
Qualifications and Specifications
- Proven success in selling complex solutions, preferably in SaaS, professional services, or EV/mobility sectors.
- Ability to handle multiple intricate sales cycles simultaneously while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-oriented approach, confident in engaging senior executives, including C-level stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of corporate and enterprise markets in Thailand and across APAC.
- Strong skills in account planning, business development, and negotiation.
- Familiarity with modern sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN) is advantageous.
- Experienced in using CRM and sales tools such as HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Thai and English.
- Willingness to travel within Thailand and internationally as required.
- Eligible to work in Thailand.
