About the Role: Bangkok University is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Director of International Recruitment to lead our global student recruitment initiatives. This role is key to expanding our international presence and attracting high-potential students from key target markets, including Indonesia, India, and China. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, relationship-builder, and frequent traveler who thrives in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and implement strategic international recruitment plans to attract high-quality students from target countries (Indonesia, India, China).
● Establish and maintain strong relationships with high schools, educational agents, and partner institutions abroad.
● Lead student recruitment activities, including school visits, education fairs, webinars, and online engagement campaigns.
● Travel internationally 7–15 days per month to represent Bangkok University, conduct recruitment events, and meet prospective students and partners.
● Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and student enrollment data to identify new opportunities for growth.
● Collaborate with internal teams (Admissions, Marketing, Academic Departments) to ensure a seamless student enrollment experience.
● Manage and mentor the international recruitment team, setting clear goals and KPIs.
● Prepare regular reports on recruitment performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications:
● Thai national, under 45 years of age ● Minimum 5 years of experience in organizational-level management
● Creative and proactive mindset, able to work independently
● Excellent English communication and comprehension skills
● Strong strategic planning abilities
● Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Education, Business, Marketing, International Relations
● Strong understanding of global education markets, especially Southeast Asia, India, and China
● Proven track record of meeting or exceeding international student enrollment targets
● Comfortable with frequent international travel and flexible working schedules
● Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret recruitment metrics and market trends
● Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team
