Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the creative vision for fashion brands, aligning it with brand identity and market trends.
  • Collaborate with senior management to integrate design strategies with business goals.
  • Guide the team in crafting seasonal collections that resonate with the brand’s ethos and customer preferences.
  • Supervise all aspects of the design process, including mood boards, sketches, fabric selection, and prototypes.
  • Ensure uniformity in design across all product lines and sales channels.
  • Mentor and inspire a team of designers to cultivate innovation and collaboration.
  • Conduct regular evaluations to provide feedback and foster professional growth.
  • Analyze global fashion trends, competitors, and customer insights to inform creative decisions.
  • Work alongside merchandising, production, and marketing teams to ensure designs are practical and commercially viable.
  • Build relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and maintain production quality.
  • Manage the design team’s budget, ensuring effective use of resources.

 


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of professional experience in fashion design, including 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creativity and expertise in fashion design.
  • Excellent team leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Proficiency in fabrics, garment construction, and production techniques.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
