About the Role
The Head of Marketing will drive the overall marketing vision and strategy for a leading higher education institution. This role is responsible for building brand strength, leading student recruitment campaigns, and positioning the institution as a top regional choice for both domestic and international students. The position requires a balance of strategic leadership, brand management, and hands-on execution across digital and traditional channels.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Leadership
• Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy aligned with the institution’s long-term vision, focusing on brand positioning, student engagement, and market growth.
• Ensure strategies strengthen institutional reputation and support enrollment objectives.
Student Recruitment Campaigns
• Design and lead data-driven recruitment initiatives to attract local and international students.
• Align campaigns with enrollment targets and academic priorities.
Brand Management & Communication
• Safeguard and enhance the institution’s brand identity across digital, print, and experiential platforms.
• Maintain consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all communication channels.
• Promote flagship programs and institutional initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Collaboration & Partnerships
• Work closely with admissions, academic faculties, and international divisions to drive awareness of key offerings.
• Build and manage relationships with agencies, consultants, and other external partners to ensure quality and efficiency in execution.
Market Intelligence & Innovation
• Lead market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, student behaviors, and opportunities for growth.
• Leverage insights to guide marketing direction and introduce innovative approaches.
Team Leadership
• Mentor and manage a high-performing marketing team, fostering creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Encourage cross-functional alignment to ensure seamless delivery of campaigns.
Performance & Operations
• Define, track, and analyze key marketing KPIs to evaluate effectiveness and inform strategy refinement.
• Oversee budget planning and vendor management to optimize resources and maintain alignment with institutional goals.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related fields.
• Minimum of 8 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role—preferably within education or mission-driven organizations.
• Strong expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, and student recruitment (domestic and international).
• Proven track record in leading multi-channel campaigns and brand development initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
